It is the avowed objective of this output between colleagues, Aiguille du Tour has been climbed the day by way of heating. The weather did not look pas des meilleures pour le début de semaine nous ont contraints à enchaîner les 2 courses. Malgré cela, les prévisions ne sont guère réjouissantes et le risque est grand que nous soyons rattrapés par le mauvais temps. L'arrivée à l'Aiguille du Midi se déroule dans la brume et la température est légèrement inférieure à 0°. Le soleil refait cependant son apparition en début de soirée. Refuge à nouveau bondé malgré la météo, nuit courte mais sommeil réparateur.

Departure 1h under the stars and rapid rise to the shoulder of Tacul. The sky is covered, however, and the wind becomes stronger. Light desccente before rising to the shoulder of Doom and fixed ropes. We walk a bit on the feet because there are people but the passage is taken smoothly. The weather deteriorated as the temperature drops and the wind is around 50 km / h. We cover gradually frost and, despite the protections, water pockets are completely frozen. Fortunately, there is the heat of hot tea. The feeling cold becomes intense (-25 °) and we are forced to continue walking. The fog thickens more and the trace is less visible. The heart-shaped turn around one by one. We still continue but the risk increases because, under such circumstances it is impossible to be rescued if something goes wrong. Confabulation, where for many minutes are weighed the pros and cons. The decision was however taken to turn 300 meters from the goal. This is not yet won because the descent of the Cursed and especially Tacul prove difficult. Finally, a bit of disappointment but also the positive feelings of having been retired even if the temptation was great to continue.
