Rossberg (Vosges sandstone)

This magnificent circular walk led to Rossberg as often via a route that will open forest then largely on the surrounding landscape as we approach the summit. This offers a beautiful view of the countryside, especially the Grand Ballon and the Jura Mountains. It can be done just as well be in summer but the journey from farm Belacker is frequented at that time. As the exit to Lake snowshoe poles, tackle this spring offers a chance to discover the place in peace.

Away, Jura and Swiss Alps are, from the top of Rossberg

From the area of picnic Wegsheid, it was the track to reach the peak height of Stahlberg. It takes a moment that leading to Belacker then head towards the Col de Rimbach. From there, it goes directly to the ridgeline and passes successively the Belackerkopf Bannbergkopf for Progresss and then on a wide ridge in the direction of Vogelstein and finally achieve the Rossberg. In return, we fork quickly towards the forest to begin the return to the starting point. The final output corresponds to a cumulative elevation of 800 m for a period of approximately 7am.
