Neuweiher Lakes and Lake perch (Vosges sandstone) As long as snow is present in sufficient quantity, the Vosges are undoubtedly a solid choice for snowshoeing because of character but not too hilly. This is the case around the Ballon d'Alsace, let alone the heights of the beautiful valley Masevaux towards Sewen, wild desire. Lake perch is to this regard to attractive goal from Rimbach, whose route is, except for crossing the Mid Bers, almost exclusively in the forest. Of course, such an output can be played during the summer but the deal during an outing in the spring has the advantage of almost total isolation.

| Dusk on Average Berse |
From the road, the route goes straight forest management in lakes Neuweiher. At this level, you can bypass the lower lake to the right by a trail that borders often withholding water and can be tricky in places. It then continues, this time bypassing the upper lake before climbing a steep trail that zigzags always in the forest. The slope then mellows out in the forest and the landscape opens on Average Bers. We pass through some of this vast stubble before declining somewhat towards the Lake perch by a path, narrow and exposed in places. The cumulative elevation is 600 m and it will take approximately 5 hours . February 2009
